Welcome to the Faculty of Management Studies Library, a cornerstone of the Delhi University Library System. Our website is a gateway to various services and resources tailored to enhance your academic experience. We are committed to fostering your success, not only in your studies but also in your lifelong pursuit of knowledge.
Established in 1961, the FMS Library has been pivotal in promoting research, academic excellence, and teaching initiatives across the university. Under the guidance of the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies, our library offers access to a diverse collection of books, journals, and reading materials carefully curated to meet the needs of our users.
Our library is designed to cater to the needs of postgraduate students in MBA, MBA Executive & Healthcare, and Ph.D. students and faculty members from the department. Faculty teachers also benefit from membership privileges, ensuring our resources are accessible to a broad academic community. Furthermore, we offer special membership to retired teachers and staff of the University of Delhi, reflecting our dedication to lifelong learning and engagement with the scholarly community.
FMS has its main library on the North Campus of the University. Over the years, the library has built a robust collection of over 50,000 books, over 23 journals (including 12 foreign journals), 12 newspapers, and many other resources like thesis, student project reports, CDs, various reports, economic surveys reports, etc. The library, spread over 5178 sq. ft., also provides access to the best business- and management-related digital resources through university network subscriptions to various databases of scholarly and industry-relevant content.
A branch library with a sprawling reading room functions at S.P.Jain Advanced Management Research Center, South Campus. Both libraries are well-stocked with textbooks, reference books, and other documents. The students also have access to the Ratan Tata Library, which has a collection of over 200,000 books and over 1,000 journals on management and economics. The students can also access the University library and study rooms, depending on their interests.
We look forward to supporting your academic endeavors and hope you leverage our library's extensive resources and services.
