LIBRARY SERVICES
The Braille Library at Delhi University provides several services both online and offline as well to support visually impaired students in their academic journey. These services include:
1. Braille Books and Study Materials: The library provides a large collection of books in Braille, including textbooks, reference materials, and general reading materials across various disciplines.
2. Audio Books and E-books: For students who prefer listening, the library offers audiobooks and e-books in accessible formats. These resources help students who may find reading Braille books challenging.
3. Assistive Technology: The library is equipped with assistive devices like screen readers and other tools that help visually impaired students access digital content and study materials.
4. Library Assistance: Trained staff members are available to assist students in navigating the library’s resources, providing support in locating Braille books, and ensuring that students can effectively use the available technologies.
5. Specialized Consultation and Guidance*: Students can get guidance on how to use various assistive devices and techniques for studying, helping them to manage their academic tasks better.
6. As a part of online services members are allotted login credential individually to download study material as per requirement.
7. We are member of Sugamaya Pustakalaya and Bookshare.
