LIBRARY RULES

Property Counter: All students/ research scholars must keep their belongings at the property counter upon entering the library premises. Students are advised not to leave valuable items at the counter. The library staff will not be responsible for any loss or theft.

Visitor Registration: All students/ research scholars must register their details in the visitor register at the circulation-cum-reference desk before entering the library.

Checkout Procedure: Kindly cooperate with the library staff at the checkpoint and ensure you show them your files and books borrowed from the library before leaving. Before leaving the counter, please check that the book lent to you is in good condition. If not, report the issue to the library staff immediately. Otherwise, you will be held responsible for any damage or loss and required to replace the item with a new copy.

Reader Tickets: Reader tickets are non-transferable as they are privileges granted only to the person to whom they are issued.

Lost Library Ticket: In case of a lost library ticket, the student must submit a written application to the library and pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 100 for replacement.

Library Etiquette: Eating, drinking, smoking, carrying bags and use of mobile phone are strictly prohibited inside the library premises. 

No Dues/ Clearance Certificate: All final-year students are required to obtain a "No Dues" or "Clearance Certificate" from the library before appearing for their final examinations.
