About Our Research Infrastructure
The Delhi University Library System (DULS), through its flagship initiative ShodhSarthi, provides a robust and comprehensive Research Infrastructure to empower scholars, faculty, and students of the University of Delhi. This infrastructure integrates digital resources, physical facilities, and advanced research tools, ensuring that the University community has access to world‑class support for their academic and research pursuits. Its digital infrastructure includes the DUP Journal Publishing Platform, the DU eLibrary, and the eBooks Gateway, which together provide access to ONOS materials, more than two lakh eBooks, digital archives, and a wide range of scholarly databases. Complementing these digital resources is a strong physical infrastructure, featuring a dedicated research floor with fully air‑conditioned research cubicles for scholars, secure lockers for personal and research materials, and a computer lab equipped to facilitate advanced academic work. To further enhance research quality and integrity, DULS also offers access to specialized research tools, including plagiarism detection systems, writing assistance platforms, and reference management software, with librarians available to provide guidance and support in their effective use.

Fully Air-Conditioned Research Cubicles
Individual research cubicles providing privacy and comfort for focused scholarly work.

• Priority to PhD scholars in final year
• Apply through online portal with supervisor recommendation
• Maximum allocation: 6 months (renewable)
• Report at reception desk before use
Lockers for Research Scholars
Secure personal lockers for storing books, research materials, and personal belongings.

• First-come, first-served basis
• Valid only for currently enrolled research scholars
• Annual fee: ₹500 (refundable deposit)
