Circulation Service
Circulation is a key service of the Central Science Library (CSL), where books are issued and returned as per user categories. The library uses a computerized system for all lending transactions. An Open Access System allows users to browse and pick books directly from the shelves. General and Text books are issued as per library rules, while reference books and current periodicals are not issued. Timely returns help ensure the availability of resources for all users.
Membership
CSL provides membership and access to its resources to Faculty members, Students, Research Scholars and Research Associates of Departments under Faculty of Science and Science Departments of colleges under University of Delhi and Undergraduate students of Faculty of Technology.
Internet Access Service
CSL provides dedicated computer terminals with high-speed internet access to support the academic and research needs of users. These systems are available in a comfortable, air-conditioned environment with proper seating arrangements designed for long study hours. The peaceful and well-maintained setup enhances user productivity, making it an ideal space for online research, accessing digital resources, and preparing assignments or projects.
Inter Library Loan Service
CSL with the co-operation of Delhi University Library System is providing Inter-Library Loan (ILL) service to its users.
