Library Membership

The resources of the Arts Library within the Delhi University Library System (DULS) are readily available to students enrolled in a diverse array of courses across the University’s faculties, departments, and affiliated or constituent colleges at the Master’s level, except where specific rules dictate otherwise. In addition to Master’s students, membership to the library is graduate students (Only for cluster programs), postgraduate students, M.Phil. candidates, and research scholars. Furthermore, both teaching and non-teaching faculty members of the University are eligible for membership, ensuring that a broad spectrum of the academic community can benefit from the extensive collections and resources offered by the Arts Library.

Members Privileges

The Arts Library within the Delhi University Library System (DULS) offers library membership in the following categories to the DULS community:

Consultancy Services

All external members are issued a consultation card for academic purposes, contingent upon the Librarian's approval and the presentation of a recommendation letter from their parent organization. Upon payment of 100 rupees, they gain membership, allowing them to access the library's physical resources for one month. Manuscripts, reference books, rare books, theses, dissertations, periodicals, and other specialized reading materials are designated for consultation only, with the exception of textbooks, which can be borrowed for a duration of seven days.
