Inter Library Loan Service
- Inter-Library Loans is a facility which supplements the Library's own stock by obtaining material not available in the University Library for teachers, research scholars, and Master’s level students.
- Members of the Library may request the requisite book(s) on Inter-Library Loan from other libraries.
- Request forms for obtaining books on ILL can be obtained from the Reference Staff at the Central Reference Library. A form must be filled in for each item requested, giving all available details. The reference staff are available during service hours to accept requests.
- Before submitting ILL requests, users should first search the DULS collection and the e-resources subscribed by the University to check availability physically or electronically.
- Books borrowed from other libraries must be used within the Central Library on production of a valid library ticket/membership card and cannot be taken outside the premises.
- Lending libraries may impose conditions like loan period and renewal limits. Violations may result in fines or suspension from the Inter-Library Loan service.
