LIBRARY RULES
- The resources of the Central Library within the Delhi University Library System (DULS) are readily available to students enrolled in a diverse array of courses across the University’s faculties, departments, and affiliated or constituent colleges at the Master’s level, except where specific rules dictate otherwise. In addition to Master’s students, membership to the library is graduate students (Only for cluster programs), postgraduate students, M.Phil. candidates, and research scholars. Furthermore, both teaching and non-teaching faculty members of the University are eligible for membership, ensuring that a broad spectrum of the academic community can benefit from the extensive collections and resources offered by the Central Library.
- All the membership cards issued by Central Library are valid in all major libraries of Delhi University for getting books issued.
- Application for membership is to be made on the prescribed form obtainable in the Library.
- Members are required to keep the Library informed of any change of address or of change of college, class, or subject of study during the period of their membership.
- Clearance certificate is to be obtained both from Central Library before appearing at the annual and final examinations.
- Entry to the Library is permitted on production of valid I.D. Card issued by the University.
- Bags and mobile phones are not allowed inside the Library.
- Library cards are not transferable.
- Library is a nonsmoking area.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in the library reading room and stacks.
- Complete silence is to be observed in the library.
